I don't claim to know much about farming, but I have learned some simple facts about sowing and reaping results; namely, if one sows good seeds, and cares for them. he will reap good results. Furthermore, if one sows a few seeds he will reap accordingly, yet if he sows numerous seeds, he will reap multiplied crops. This principle applies to our generosity with our money, and also the good works that we sow into our pies. (Not to be confused with earning our salvation. That comes as a gift.)

"But this I say; He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity, for God loes a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, having all sufficiency in all things, may have and abundance for every good work.
