John 5:24 ESV
The one who who has placed his faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all his sins, and commits to follow Him, while he will go through the process of growing old and eventually succumbing to the death of his earthly body, will – in an instant – transition to life eternal in heaven.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life.
