Think About It
When Jesus told Peter to “build my church”, He was not talking about a church building. In fact the first church building was not constructed until the second half of the third century. Peter and the early disciples “built the church” telling people the good news about Jesus and eternal life.
“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
