Many have tried to over complicate this process. But it must be simple. Look t this passage in Luke
23:40-43: “But the other rebuked him, saying, ‘Do you not fear God, since you are under the
same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of
our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.’ And he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ And he said to him, ‘Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me
in paradise.’”
Basically, we must confess our sins, receive his free gift of salvation, and acknowledge him as King and Lord of all. Then we act on it.
Don’t put it off. Accept Him today and live free from the bondage of sin! He will illuminate your life and others will take notice of the change in your heart. He is waiting with His arms wide open. No matter what you have done, there is forgiveness and healing in the Jesus and his blood sacrifice.
Your next step is to join a local church and get baptized. Fellowship with God’s followers is essential to growing in your faith. Baptism is commanded by Jesus (Matt. 28:16-20).
