Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
When we dwell with Jesus we gain a heart after his own heart. This gives us power through his Spirit to act according to his will.
Jesus wants to free people from Satan’s grip on their lives. He can use us to do it. And we need to be alert and sober-minded to act when he calls.
Whatever you bind will be bound. Whenever you loose will be loosed. Doesn’t this sound like some crazy great abilities? They are, and with them come some important responsibilities.
We must act in God’s will. To do this we must be sanctified. We must be cleansed and renewed in our minds. And we must be full of God’s love.
Lord, fill me anew today with your love and humility. When I sacrifice my wants and desires at your throne, you bring me closer to you and tee up better adventures for me to follow you on.
