Can I Prioritize Listening to Jesus over Serving Him?

In true Jesus fashion, he answers this man’s question with a parable and then a question.

We have a choice to make each day, my friends

Love the Lord your God with all your heart

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace

It is God’s pleasure to use us weak humans for his incredible glory.

Some will listen and receive the good news. They will be blessed.

In what areas of life do I like to control? Am I willing to let God steer the ship of my life?
